The video shows one of the most interesting projects I have collaborated on: research on nanostructures in nickel layers induced by chiral light https://doi.org/10.1016/j.optlaseng.2022.107437. In this study, we explored how circularly polarized light can precisely modify the surface structure of materials at the nanoscale, opening new applications in photonics and nanoelectronics.
This video, part of a series on earthbag construction, introduces essential tools in parametric architectural design: Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Ladybug, and Honeybee. These tools allow architects to adjust their designs to maximize energy efficiency and comfort in eco-friendly buildings, ensuring that projects like earthbags are both sustainable and effective from an environmental and functional perspective. This content will be integrated into future teaching, providing students the opportunity to learn and apply these tools in the context of advanced and sustainable architectural design.
